Species Summary
Known Summary
The Tyrthians are a people forged for war. Renowned for their strength and resilience, their histories reach back to ancient warrior cultures, and their martial traditions are sharpened by knowledge handed down from enigmatic ancestors. Within the Hegemony of the Vorath they are the shield and the spear — formidable soldiers whose name humanity still speaks in Tyr, the old god of war, law, and honor.
Warriors of Ancient Blood
Where other peoples inherited philosophy or craft from the ancient visitors, the Tyrthians inherited the art of battle. Their culture is built around discipline, honor, and endurance, and their oldest teachings read less like history than like a code of arms.
The Sword of the Hegemony
The Coalition leans on the Tyrthians when strength is required and subtlety is not. Hard to break and harder to rout, they lend the Hegemony a martial backbone that complements the Elysari’s cunning and the Zaltharians’ machines — the muscle behind the mind.
Strategic Assessment
For the United Federation of Nations, the Tyrthians are a straightforward and serious threat wherever the Hegemony deploys them. A people who prize honor, however, are also a people who can be reasoned with on terms of honor — a narrow door, but a real one.
